Almost all the money goes to the Hospice. You are kind of missing the point of this event guys, its a limited experience to raise much needed money for the Hospice. There will only be, at max, 60 cars and most of those will be serious metal, yes, it is for those that can afford it and no apologies I'm afraid as the Hospice needs to raise 65,000 a week just to stay open and they rely heavily on people with big pockets.

A few answers to the Q's

There is a spectator area known as spotters hill which gives a good view of the event runway, easy to access and free. Bring a pair of binocs though it's not to far away.

McLaren are sponsoring the event and are bringing some tricky items. Models will be confirmed soon.

A couple of celebrities have signed up and brining their toys. I think we two of the four Scottish 458 speciales confirmed. A lp640 and of course good old commonor garden super sport Bentley, porches and a db9 or three

Two sessions will be run, a morning and an afternoon, brekkie, lunch and snacks will be provided through the day,

Cars will be paired with similar performance and it will be terminal velocity ( top speed ) so no need to drag race

All of the money raised ( 100% ) goes to the charity. St Andrews hospice in Airdrie with a portion of the funds going to the Ayrshire hospice.

. PRESTWICK AIrport have waived all their fees and are providing staffing for security, escorting etc. they have been fantastic in their attitude and helpfulness. Certainly not SAD as the earlier poster seemed to think.

Confirmed today we have a McLaren P1 attending along with another couple of limited edition cars.

Also the format is changing and it looks like we should get multiple runs against the clock as opposed to the limiting knock out

The event was awesome. Been to several of these events and this was by far the best.

Every car got at least 7 runs. The stable of cars was phenomenal. The p1 was superb. 213 mph on the main runway.

As soon as I get the print out I will post the main cars and times.

Thanks to all involved. Especially the airport an McLaren. ( parks of hamilton )
