A slim chance but worth asking if anybody witnessed an incident this am on the B977 Raemoir to Aberbeen road at 07.45 hrs.

A Grey Audi A6 Estate was pushed into the opposite verge whilst overtaking . A Dark Red vehicle with white markings pulled out to overtake and hit into the Audi which was already overtaking. Red vehicle may have "CKR" in its registration.

The incident would have been observed by a Silver Mercedes from the Aboyne area whose registration ended in "AGA"

Any help with witnesses would be much appreciated..

Sorry I can't help with the witness information. I'm guessing your interest is in the Audi?

So many people seem to trundle along in a coma with no idea what's going on around them. A Skoda Octavia (it's always frigging Skodas) did it to me not so long ago too but fortunately without contact. You sit behind these idiots past numerous safe passing places and when you finally decide to pass both cars, THAT'S when moron decides to go too.

+1. Infuriating numpties. Happens regularly hereabouts, although the most productive one wa an Audi convertible who'd been sitting behind a builder's van on the A84: he'd missed about four good safe opportunities to overtake, so I pulled out, gave him plenty of time to see me, then accelerated. I was fully alongside when, of course, he pulled out into me - mirrors just touched, but I was already on the horn and I watched him flailing around all over the place in my mirrors. I pulled in to the next lay-by and, as he came past, signalled him to pull in. He did so - he was horribly shaken, having borrowed his mum's car and came out with the classic "I didn't look because I didn't think anyone would be overtaking me". Good grief. Anyway, I just gave him some pointers to driving courses - IAM, RoSPA - that sort of thing, and I just hope he's taken it to heart and done something about it.
