Well well well, has he finally given up? (I know he was scheduled to go next year)

Will we still get his speed awareness trial? (Where 31mph in a 30 "could" be an endorse-able offence) I wonder.

Excellent news - I am an SNP voter myself but they really need to look as this position going forward.

House was either able to give 2 fingers to McCaskill and the new guy or he was doing exactly what the SNP wanted him to do. Have heard various stories about him that are not allowed to be talked about and if these are correct then it would appear that he was genuinely untouchable.

Hopefully there may also be a revisit of the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act as well and how that is implemented. The sheer cost in resources, time and cash being given to this is a scandal.

And that's before we mention the 31mph limits, the parking up next to new housing schemes checking that cars and driving licenses are registered to correct addresses etc etc

What a contemptible man; no mention of the reason he's leaving early, just some 'woe is me' about having to leave his job before he planned to and cry into his golden handshake. No doubt the revolving door will have him back in the week after he goes, double-dipping with some nice consultancy with whichever drone replaces him.

Doesn't he have a super injunction preventing newspapers from discussing his sexuality?

Yes. It's also fairly common knowledge that he promoted his lover to a position he was not worthy of.

There should be questionnaire results coming out soon that shows a majority of officers would leave the force within the next 12 months if they could. I personally know two of them.
