Does anyone have advice as to a decent rolling road in the east of Scotland? Ideally north of Edinburgh to Aberdeen-ish. Doesn't require to be 4WD but needs to be able to cope with up to 800bhp or so (for the purposes of mapping). Thanks in advance.

I know of Wallaces which claims to cope with up to 1600bhp. In your neck of the woods too.

Had my car at Wallace before. Because of the gearing, it tops out the max speed of the rollers in 4th gear and just spins it's wheels in 3rd! frown

DMC Performance in Inverurie now have a rolling road.

Not sure on the details but may be worth a call.

Id recommend these guys, not sure if they can deal with the power you need but my friend put down 620hp at the wheels on HQs Dyno.

That and Russ who operates the dyno is a nice chap!

Roselie in Whitecraig had a hub dyno that can cope with some pretty large RWD loads, not sure if they still have it as its been a few years since I needed to dyno a car.

I know your at after N east, however what about running on hub dynos? Dyna tune in east Kilbride will easily cope with your needs and no wheel spin issues. Can recommended them.

Cheers.

All depends on how far my tuner is willing to travel. Mapping on the track would be possible too (more representative of the car under load, safer for engine) but more personal safety issues.

Waste of time he cant even work them. he needs a rolling road operator to do it for him which he does not have.
