Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help out a fellow PH member. I'm looking at F430's and would be really keen to meet up with some members to discuss owner experiences, maintenance, what to look for, insights etc.

I'm registered a FCars/ClubScuderia; however, it's a little quiet up North.

Coffee would be on me 'naturally'; I appreciate that some people would not be comfortable giving out their home address online, as such, happy to meet at another location.

There were a couple of F430's at the recent GTScotland meet, however, I never found the owner!

Thanks in advance.

Alistair

Unfortunately I don't own a 430 but maybe an idea to pop along to the Fennel in Inverurie on a Sunday morning as believe there is sometimes a V8 meet. You may just get lucky wink

if you ping the GT Scotland guys a message on Facebook then I'm sure they'll be able to help you.

The North of Scotland has a particularly active Ferrari owners club which is looked after by a very helpful gentleman called David Jackson.

I know when I was looking after the Central area I was happy for any prospective owners to come along to a meet to ask questions and find out more about the cars and I am sure David will be the same. I dont know if they have any more events planned this year (other than the annual end of season do) but it would be worth getting in touch with him.

I can highly recommend a 430 - great cars. The stock answers to your questions are ball joints and manifolds. I spent three years with two different 430's and both were faultless during that time.

It was until earlier on this year - it's now looked after by me

OP, if you want to email me I'll see what I can do

Yoohoo! A freind of mine pointed me to this thread, I'd have responded sooner had I noticed.
It must have been my 430 you saw at those super car days, it was the only one there👍 I'll send you a message.
