Anyone going to this? Fancy taking the Jag on track. It's definitely not a "track" car so I guess I'll likely stick out like a sore thumb in amongst stripped/caged/modified M3s and the like...

I was toying with doing it. The trackscotland events are always well run with decent folk on track. Not the usual hot hatch day lot, of which. Very few can drive to a half decent standard so it constant red flags.

I've always found on trackscotland days there's a good mix of track/race cars but also bog standard road cars.

Cool, I'm going to book now as there are only 7 spaces left.

I've been to TS trackdays for years and they're up there with the best. Generally attended by real enthusiasts who care about their cars.

I'm actually booking on this one with my Alfa race car. I'm putting a short ratio box in it and would like to give the car a run.

Ah, I thought you had an Aston? Either way, I've read about your Alfa, looking forward to seeing that.

Weather's not looking too great for Saturday unfortunately frown

I do have an Aston too. I was thinking of another time I was at Boyndie. It's not like I'm there every week but I make a trip once a year for a karting day!

Sadly I've had to bail on the TD. The box is only going back in the Alfa this evening and I'm getting the fear that my wife, who is due our first child in less than 4 weeks, is going to go early!

Have a good one though!

Ah, no worries, hopefully will get to see it another time. Congratulations on the impending arrival, our first arrived 16 months ago, you've got a lot of fun ahead of you smile
