Off topic I know but I am intrigued about the half second!
Drop me a pm with the date you are planning to do the NC500, hopefully after June as that's the latest delivery date of the car

Will do Craig,

I am planning to do the NC500 in the M3 with the Mrs in May (as a bit of a test) and then with the boys in late July / early August in the Atom, so sure we can work something out!

Superb, not quite sure of the rota as yet but should have a better idea in the next month or so. Off to Kazakhstan in a fortnight

off to Newcastle to pick up the next major mod this weekend
You are in with a chance now Hamish, I have opted to have the ZZS tyres rather than the ZZR's, they are for more road and damp happy then the former. Not as fast on a dry track but a lit better than in the wet.

I may end up with a set of both to make it a little easier on the dry road days

Must admit I have 2 sets of wheels....one with AD08's (wet weather ish) and 1 with AO48's for dry days!

Attended this on Sunday with my Evora. Great event, with surprisingly few teething problems for its first time. Shows great promise for the future, if only we could persuade the weather in the days before to co-operate so we avoid this year's sea of mud in the static display and hillclimb paddock areas.

Here's some in-car footage of the Lotus in action on the hillclimb : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcYPp1XcO7g
