Roof repairs in Perthshire?

Hi all,

I currently have a leaky roof (suspect valley gutter) and have been trying to get some estimates for repair.

The only company that has actually turned up has quoted over £1200 to replace the gutter and fix a few slates.

This is a lot more than I was expecting, but having only been able to get one quote, I've no idea if this is reasonable or not.

Property is a two storey Victorian house under a slate roof. Valley gutter is on the side of a dormer roof.

I wondered if anyone else had any similar work carried out in this part of the world and what it had cost?

Or any recommendations for reliable roofers in Perthshire? Water ingress is getting worse so keen to get fixed asap.

Alan Robertson in Scone have been trading for a couple of generations so just be doing something right. No personal experience of them though.

Since posting I've managed to obtain another quote. Substantially cheaper so I'm happy with that. Definitely worth getting more than one quote for these jobs!
