Anyone from Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire know anything about the evo sitting in the trees (crashed) for well over a year now on the south deeside road?

It's in the trees around 15 feet from the road outside Mary Culter House Hotel.

Not to be daft but are there any "Police Aware" stickers on it?

Odd that it hasn't been removed after a couple of weeks...

Not that i can see from the road, but i have never gotten out of the car and taken a look, it appears to be an EVO8.

Its really surprising that it is still there, you'd think the insurance or owner would have wanted to do something with it.

It does look to be in a fairly sorry state.

Might be worth a closer look, just in case everyone else has assumed the police know about it but there's actually a guy decomposing away in the driver's seat...

Might go take a look this weekend when i have some free time, I've only ever seen it when i have been rushing past.

It was obscured in summer due to the trees and bushes growing as well.

It's not worth having a look - it's been completely stripped down to the shell.

My guess is that it'd be too difficult/costly to get back out of the trees, so it's just been left.

Is there any pictures of it? I picture it being 20 ft in the air!

Nah, it's at ground level - just really embedded. Wasn't even on the news at the time, so I don't think anyone was seriously injured.
