Hi chaps, I am thinking about a purchase from these guys, but they're pretty far away from me so I'd love to know if anyone has used them, and if so, would you use them again?

thanks

Do the Ewart family still own Autosales of Kirriemuir, they sold all there motor trade interests in Inverness years ago and concentrated more on property.

It's not too far away from me and I do pop in every now and again. Certainly still the same owners as before. They usually have a fairly eclectic bunch of cars. I was last in to have a look at their R8 and it was pretty much as I expected as an ok(ish) car at an ok(ish) price but not for me. Never heard anything bad from any of the locals tho.

They are not far from me either.Browsed stock a few times. I use them for van hire when I need to pick something up.

I know a couple of people in Kirriemuir and they've said it might not be the best place to buy from but don't know anyone with actual experience.

Well, I emailed them about one of their cars and I got a very nice email reply very quickly. I requested various bits and bobs of information and they provided everything I needed. I asked if they could do something on the price and a price was agreed. They did a small amount of remedial work on the car and I collected it on Friday. They offered to collect me from Dundee or Perth, which was nice. Car was even better than described and Bruce Ewart couldn't have been friendlier. Car came with warranty and breakdown cover. Journey home was fantastic. All in all, a great buying experience.

Result! Nice to hear you had a good experience there. They're pretty near to me and I've only heard good things about them.
