As I posted earlier, I have a route of about 100 miles starting and finishing at Dunkeld.

If someone wants to pull the event together, I'll happily supply the route which is in a roadbook format with tulip diagrams and distances. The roads used are predominantly "browns" and "yellows" with opportunities for stopping at the facilities in Pitlochry, Kenmore and Killin for those who prefer not to pee behind trees, or want to have a leisurely lunch break.

Preferably a weekend if possible!

When you say green and yellow single track roads, are these the type that need passing places for oncoming cars etc??

Someone will have to pick a date / time though, make sure its a dry one though

How about Saturday the 4th or Sunday the 5th of November?
Not this weekend but the next weekend.

I've got access to a 1-litre Yaris. It’s a fantastic little car but no exactly a hooning car. Would anybody from the Glasgow area be prepared to car pool? I’ll pay half the petrol. Otherwise if anybody from the Glasgow wants a lift in a wee Toyota the just e-mail me.

10th sound good to me as well

I'm committed to other things for all the weekends in November. I've a few events still left in my Scrutineering diary and about to start an extension to the house so need to clear a few things up before it starts, so couldn't commit any time to things.

I'd recommend running it either in the next couple of weeks or put it off until spring.

But if someone else wants to run it I'll happily email the route to them .

See www.renny.org.uk/inweb/SH2006%20Roadbookv3.doc

for the route which started from the LRE at the Dunkeld House Hotel. The trip was set from the old lodge and the finish was just outside Dunkeld in a Forestry car park. You may want to alter the last bit to finish in Dukeld centre.

Assuming we're talking about 2006 - 10th Nov is a Friday!

Are you thinking of Saturday the 11th or Sunday 12th?

If so I can only do a few hours that weekend as we've got visitors staying. Go ahead anyway, would like to meet up somewhere even if it's not the full route.

Why not meet up at KH on the 11th towards the end of the track event (9-1), nice big car park etc, sort out the route(s) and then go for a run in the afternoon ?

Yep Sat or Sunday's good for me. Not too keen for a meeting at Knockhill - what are we going to do, wear pink roses or something? I'd imagine there'll be a fair few people there!
