Here is the fact a £40,000 Noble mod to 490+bhp and a good driver will do 0-60 in 3.1 sec. I have proven that many a time. The Lambo is a nice car and double the price but over a short distance and tight roads the lambo would not stand a chance. As for your comment that was a standard M400. The link i added proves to you idiots out there to how fast a Noble is? Respect a fast car at the price.
With 425 horsepower motivating only 2,484 pounds and enough mechanical grip to embarrass most supercars, the 2007 Noble M400 has laid waste to the record books at Inside Line like the Terminator tearing through a cop-filled doughnut shop.
Our testing equipment has definitely had a hard lesson in Newtonian physics. The Noble hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, then streaked through the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds at almost 120 mph. This makes it the quickest car we've ever tested, leaving behind the Corvette Z06, Ford GT and Porsche 911 Turbo.
The M400 also slices through the slalom at 79.4 mph, nearly 4 mph faster than the previous record-holder, the poised Porsche 911 GT3. The Noble also rips up the skid pad at 1.05g, breaking another standard previously set by the 911 GT3.
The 2007 Noble M400 is a midengine racer with a twin-turbo V6 engine and it looks as raw as its record-busting performance numbers. Yet we've found out that this British-designed kit car can make it on the street as a daily driver. And that's what makes its performance even more stunning.

Graham here...
There has been login problems, the above posts from hollowpockets were not me!
Not getting involved in the mondeo/fast car jokes.
I just collected my M400 from Jetstream in Bruntingthorpe today and they've done a great job of my car. 555bhp and 525lbft so it's fast enough for me, had a great drive up to Edinburgh and now having a tug, also watched the Vmax guys in, porsches and ferraris break 200mph on the runway, awesome day.
Bignor, there's no chance your car is faster than a mp12-4c. he wasn't trying

I think you're missing the point. Maybe the McLaren driver had a greater respect than you for his fellow man... Maybe he wasn't a complete tosser, choosing not to go balls-out racing in a built-up area. No-one disputed how quick a Noble is, but then we aren't all insecure knobs with something to prove. White Mclaren MP4-12C in Aberdeen. In the best possible place to spot it! Shooting out the tunnel under Union Street.
Also Lamborghini LP560-4(?) Spyder and the orange Sagaris in town. As well as a Monaro.

That Mclaren MP4-12C passed me going up Anderson Dr until he stopped at the lights at Great Western then tried to loose me off the lights and up the drive until he realised he just got his ass kicked by a Noble. Nice car tho
Must suck to spend over £150k on a supercar and get beaten by a glorified Mondeo... Papa Hotel said:

Just another thing to note. As this is no doubt a brand new car, I suspect that it'll be getting run in and he can't rev it too much. He's just spent a fortune on a car which I don't suppose he would want to trash in a race off the lights on Anderson drive.Edited by Papa Hotel on Saturday 3rd September 21:30

The Stig may beg to differ a little on that one, I believe it is second top on the power lap board. The Noble is quick, basic and crudely built, but quick. As others have said, the guy was probably just not a tosser that gives it the beans every time some no mark grins stupidly at him while revving the guts out of his little boys toy at the lights.
Its called having a bit of class.

Very nice. He must be gutted getting beat by a noble.
I don't think the owner is the sort of person who would actually bother taking on another car at the lights. Certainly not giving it 100%. Plus, after his little mistake in his 458 he probably takes it quite easy. Then again, I do hear thats a fast Noble...

As previously mentioned, my neighbour's 12C has arrived. It would appear that this has taken their place of the 599 GTO and 458.
Much nicer in the flesh and nice to see one in something other than orange or black.
