I supervised the installation of the gas export risers there some years ago, you're not fixing them are you ! - bloody hell it must have been around ten years ago, doesn't time fly when you are having fun biggrin
they are lifting three sections of riser, im just here to do the LSA inspection and health+safety proceedures if necessary.

I thought you might have been giving the Paul B Loyd a visit last week Hollowpockets. I was manifesting a Scotoil shipment and thought the name rang a bell.

yeh its scotoil but nope don't think we had anyone out there, - maybe just contamination meters being sent in for calibration or they have their own RPS who has been checking equipment.

Graeme,

You still onboard the Skandi? I'm hoping to sign the Charter Party for a 19 day job for her tomorrow. Just waiting on the owners coming back with confirmation we can fit an 8m x 10m spool piece on the back deck with the rest of the kit we want. Got a tape measure handy? biggrin

It's awesome. Norwegian platform => food food food food...

The place is like a hotel. Going back to UK rigs won't be easy!

I need to get off this thing in time for Le Mans!...

Hah I'm with SLB too.

I go and have a look at the Morning Quicklook and I can see you on it. Been offshore 11 days eh? hehe
You based in Norway or in the UK??

ETA: OK I see from your profile your from Aberdeen as well. How did you end up getting to work on the Norwegian side then? I'm only spending time here by luck.
