It gets used very little each year, so most the time sitting in port. Been on standby for the last 3weeks for owners arrival and still not here

On the Maersk resilient right now doing the ROV ops.

Cracking rig, hopefully sorted a regular rotation out here

I'm on the East, the Rigs are alright, not the cleanest and the food is pretty average but I've been on much worse.
You will get wifi and there is a gym.

Returned from a 6 week hitch in Angola with ........................ malaria!

First week home spent in the Infectious Diseases unit at ARI, lovely!

Week 5 in Port Noir, The Congo, boarded by pirates ( just local thieves ) three times at anchor in the bay,
The Bar Protector is right beside us, Anyway, home next week though that may be fun as Air France is about to go on strike.....

cheers - ended up getting bumped and another lad going due to another potential job on one of the CDC rigs

Stuck on a vessel in Ghana. No Billy pugh because the boat doesn't have enough ooomph to hold station next to the FPSO. 'Might' get into port instead tomorrow, 'might' get a fixed wing space to Accra.

Maybe get home on Sat in time to see a little bit of my sons 7th birthday. The joys of offshore eh??
