Tried posting this in the jobs forum but no replies, so trying here.

Does anyone on here work for Marathon oil, (North Sea)? I understand they are on a 3/3 rota and would like to know if this is under review. I am in the initial stages of applying for a position on the Brae's and have been told they are on a 3/3 rota. I am currently on a 3/3 rota, though my company has already told us we would be staying on an equal time rota.

Many thanks

Apart from the rota issue , you do know the braes are ready to be decommissioned don't you?
Can't see them throwing a better rotation into the mix that being the case

Yes, though i do not know when. My current platform has a COP date sometime in 2021, though that could be extended. I have been on my platform over 10 years and would like a change, so i thought i would apply around and see what is available.

I'm on the Braes what do you want to know? It's always under review but can't see anything changing soon.

Thanks for that, Allandwf.

I am looking for a move to another rig/company within the operations department, and would prefer a company who do not operate an equal time rota. Apart from Nexxon does anyone know which other companies do not operate a equal time rota? I currently work for RSR on a 3/3 rota.

Enquest are 3n4 3n5 on Magnus. And will be gradually changing their other platform to follow the same rota. They did have some vacancies on Magnus but think the interviews are now complete. Have a look on their website

I did apply for the Magnus though as i have not heard back i assume i was not successful. I have heard though that Enquest will be aligning all their platforms to an equal time rotation?

Hr and onshore management have indicated that 3n3 is not the best and looking for options. We are 3n4 3n5 now and been told we won't be changing when 1 year protected period is finished and other assets will be looking to change to our rota in the future including gradually taking on more petrofac techs to be enquest staff. But that is what we've been told but will probably be different in reality.
