Lovely evening in Leith - looking out over the water and enjoying a nice glass of wine.

Have a great weekend peeps.

Bit late I know Eric but Surgeon's Hall at the Royal College of Surgeons is well worth a visit, albeit a bit gruesome and not for the squeamish. Deformed, two headed foetus' in formalin, body parts in kilner jars, soldiers testicles displayed with lead shot etc.... You get the picture !

Near there or thereabouts - Royal Scottish museum in Chambers Street
The Hairy triangle in Westport - if you're into lap dancing?
Bennet's bar in Tollcross
Cafe Royal - W. Register street
Modern art gallery - Belford road
National gallery of Scotland - the Mound
Botanic gardens
Nat. museum of antiquities - Queen street
Scottish malt whisky society - Queen street
Edinburgh's white elephant - Scottish parliament buildings
"Hollywood" house - as I heard an American call it many years ago !!

Other things, especially if you're in Leith:-

Scottish Malt Whisky Society in Giles street
Fishers bistro
The Waterfront Bar
QE2 at Ocean terminal
Port o' Leith bar
Walk up the Water o' Leith to Botanic Gardens and Stockbridge

Anyway, as I said, probably too late but I'm sure you'll end up doing the rounds and finding out what a great city Embra' is
