End of the second vid. This one - http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/hm/HM22062007_2...

Both sound amazing. I have a soft spot for porkers though. Had to bite the bullit and do a trackday in my 26yr old 911 on sunday after the smoking issues of the GTR on Friday :O

The lambo is as wide as a truck when you coming up behind it LOL nice car smile

Oh and Gareth, thanks for moving over into the hairpin, most people would have just held the line, sorry if I was hassling you into the bend in anyway. smile
Can't remember when that was but I do remember making way for you at some point. Was kinda hoping to get a couple of laps with you when having no passenger. biggrin

Caterham is a new car for me on track so taking a little getting used to.

I take it that was the trackday at Crail Adam???

I had the 997 up doing the 1/4 mile and was going to stay for the tracknight but had passengers who needed to get home.

Saw a stunning old school 911 just as i was leaving so that might have been you??

Did the weather stay off for you? It was just starting to rain again as i headed home before 5.

Do you think they will do another Sytner night then Scott?

TBH a 997 TT is probably the route I'll go down in 6 months, just need a bit of Murci-time and then we'll see.

need to get a new window mount but as I plan on getting it this week or next I'll have it for the next night I'm sure.
Paul,

Sytner are looking at doing the track nights regular i think, at least 4 a year i have heard.

If you want a shot of the 997TT to help with the decision give me a shout, would be more than happy to let you take it for a few laps. I am amazed at the pick up due to the new turbo vain technology there is next to no lag, it justs wants to pull all the way to the red line.

Let me know where you are getting your camera mount from. I looked at a seat mount but it does not fit due to the sports seats so am forced down the window sucker or mount route and have not been able to find anything yet.

Scott I'll swap ya for a few laps and see what ya think of the Lambo.

It's a totally different car in alot of ways some good and some bad.

It's not really suited for knockhill but hey it'll do........ smile

I'd only have a shot of yours if it was dry, am not a fan of the rain.

That would be great if they do a few nights a year instead of one Saturday a year with a crappy DVD.

Yeah Clarkson is right it is the worlds most expensive Dyson Hoover...lol It certainly sounds "Different"

Best 1/4 mile speed on Sunday was 12.336 in what can only be described as Slightly Damp!! Looked dry at first stayed that way for a while and then started to spit on and off, actually we were very lucky it could have bucketed down.

I started off the day with Traction on and was getting really bogged down off the start, operator error to be honest as i was too keen on the accelerator, turned it off and got into the 12's. Did 15 runs in total.

Porsche quote 12.3 for the quarter so i was there or there abouts.

Had a good wee battle with Graham Kelly in his seriously fast Subaru. 3 races he won the first i got the other 2 so was chuffed with that.

There was a seriously quick Evo there owned by Russ Paton, he managed a 11.9 dead and that run his reaction time was .9 of a second!!! This thing off the line was awesome!
