Can anybody recommend sonemone to undertake repair work on a TVR in the Inverness / North Scotland area. My V8S is pretty sick at the moment and I need someone who knows their tatties.

Can't honestly say I would trust anyone in Inverness. I take the Stang to Callander to TVR Dreadnought. http://www.dreadnoughtgarage.co.uk/

Or try Jim King at Inverurie/Lethenty - has for a long time serviced most of the V8 and S series TVR's, very good.

I can second Jim King in Inverurie, I've only ever heard good reports. Dreadnoughts are also very good but pricy.

What is wrong with your car? What model is it?

I would highly recommend D Forsyth in Inverness, he built an engine for my last Evo from scratch for me, believe me he is the only guy in Inverness I would trust he works for volvo as a mechanic/technician and has a large garage at his place if you are interested.

Thanks for your help I will try some of those recommendations.

The model of TVR is the S type with the 4.0 V8 engine. Sorry for the delay in replying but I am just back from holiday and will now try and get the TVR sorted before going back offshore.

As a new Cerbera owner who is thinking of getting their servicing etc done there was this negative press price related or work related?

Also is there anyone else recommended to go to in the Falkirk area?

We here at Dreadnought take customer satifaction very seriously and find Ianbruce's comment very worrying and strange as we have not had one complaint in over a year.I have contacted him to furnish me with the names of lots of customers who are not happy and where the negative press is published so I can contact them to see if indeed this is so. We work very hard to look after our customers and their cars. If Ianbruce can't furnish me with proof of his comments our legal team will will take the action required to safegaurd our reputation. We do make mistakes but do all in our power to make sure our customers are happy.

Not a lot wrong with Dreadnought - I've only ever heard praise.

I apologise unreservedly to Dreadnoughts for my mistake about negative press it was an un intentional remark on my part. I merely meant to agree with the reply which stated that the service was pricy as I had heard that previously.

I have not used Dreadnoughts and have no personal experience to substantiate the comment.
