Anyone else going to Knockhill this Friday [honestly the 13th isn't unlucky] courtesy of Dreadnought and Star Performance. Forecast looks not too bad, so I'm going to try the repaired car with its new engine out. Probably a good way to come unstuck is to tell others before you do it, at least it might be fun to watch it all go bang!!

would have been as mine's all ready to roll again....
except I've the SVA test in a couple of weeks and I've no time between now and then to fix anything if it goes pop or I prang it, so it'll be in cotton wool in the garage until the test is done.
Good to hear yours is up and running again though.

Nuts would have like to see that (not your car going pear shaped, but on the track). But I am still out on the rig till monday.

Have a good day guys. I am hoping to get down to the Hot Marques night on the 27th instead.

What time is it all on?
If work is quiet I might take a drive up for a trip and get some photos.

Runs between 6PM and 8PM. If the weathers good, will be up taking photos as well.

Introduction is at 5.30, so if you want to be on the track, be early rather than late. Forecast was still promising this morning, thankfully.

Was just wet to start, which was fine - but later "very" wet which was more tricky! Quite a few cars then spinning in front of me - so called it a day.

Andy, thanks for the pics of my car in the gravel! If you thought it wasn't going to stop before the tyre wall, think how I felt watching it approach, sickening feeling but the gravel did an admirable job, and I didn't even get beached, maybe due to 335 section tyres, certainly not anything I did. What a wet night that was.

See, I'm just not a fan of that quad pipe version.

I am in the process of getting a hand made back box by a Ayrshire firm which will look really sweet!!! The plan is a straight through no cats version and it'll look like a LP640 rear with it a bit. I prefer a single outlet than even 2.
