Broomsticklady is setting me up for a fall here - Basic Instinct is quick in talented hands, but it is me who will be driving at Golspie. I make no claims to eat anything other than bacon rolls (but don't tell the cardiologist...)!
AS I currently am way down the reserve list for Golspie, it doesn't look likely that I shall be there, not driving anyway...Edited by G4Addicted on Tuesday 7th August 21:14
All pistonheads please remember to say hello at the weekend. I will be the one running about like a 'chocolate'(this bit for ianthebruce) getting everything ready and then as the start line marshal. This will be my last time doing this job as I intend retiring after Fintray and taking up a new post behind the wheel 5 years after winning the SHC Class 2 and then grenading the gearbox thereafter. Pray for good weather!!!!!!

Well there are a bunch of Modify-Scotland members headin up
get there early and marshal then! If you're going, it's a no-brainer apart from having to get up early! You get paid to go, you get your lunch, you get the best view - you help run the event.
No experience necessary, no special equipment needed, just be there for about 8.30-9am so you get signed on and have the 5 minute briefing.
Plus, it give you a chance to have a good wander round the paddock before the crowds arrive and get a gawp at the cars, talk the the drivers etc with no-one in your way.

You should enjoy the experience, it is great way to be involved and be close to the action.
