Graeme - I take it you will be there to keep an eye on Mssrs Mutch and Jolly?

How did the Predator test go at Alford - will you have the car out at Doune next week?

I will be sharing Broomstick duties at Doune with Mike, as the usual pilot still has a duff knee - we are both under orders not to try too hard!

Yes Mutch/Jolly and a few others. Alford went ok`ish, all that did not work before works fine now, but there is still something not right, so i did not go to Prescott with it.
Just about finished taking out the engine and away to leave for Engine Developements at about 1am so i can drop it of first thing tomorrow. Its a bit annoying, its now charging, got good fuel pressure, and it starts realy easy and quick, but it seems to be a little down on power. Think its something to do with it over charging at Doune on the Saturday before the voltage reg pack up on the Sunday. Dont want to do much with the engine because its up for sale, but 1 or 2 more events would be good, its giving me a chance to try out things thats going to be built into Robbies car, and the things i had at Doune seemed to work well.

Sounds like fun - see you at Golspie. You can have a laugh watching me squeeze into the cockpit of Basic Instinct...

perhaps there is some advantage to not getting an entry after all
Finals are out.

Angus,

You appear to be 9th on the reserve list.

I'm 11th. frown

Cheers,

Eric smile
The last event the entries went down past 10th reserve, so there is still hope?

I shall be going up anyway drinklaugh, I shall take the car up to Fife from Derby on Thursday and decide on Friday whether to take the car up to Golspie or not.

This is Basic Instinct:

But don't expect miracles - I need to learn to drive a racecar again (it has been a while...)

I believe camping is available, and the SRs say the circuit is open from 18:00 on the Friday evening.

Don't let the broomsticklady know you don't regard the broomstick to be a racecar!!

Oh I do, I do! However, it is the only car I have driven in anger since way before I was ill (at Fintray), and I recall I did not make a terribly good job of it...

Dont know yet, we were just dropping it off. I will find out in a day or 2, but we are thinking its injector problems, fuel pressure good yet the engine is running a bit lean.

Aha, sorry I picked you up wrong in your earlier post.

Fingers crossed for it being good to go at Doune - I've decided not to go to Spa that weekend so I can see the Predator in action. wink
