Dont know yet, we were just dropping it off. I will find out in a day or 2, but we are thinking its injector problems, fuel pressure good yet the engine is running a bit lean.
So if it's not fixed is it the imp or the dax for doune then ?

Dax is oversubscribed already I think - hence Mr Jolly's abduction by me into the Broomstick!!

Yes there is already 2 Mutch in the dax for Doune and no room for a Jolly or a me. Should have my own car, if not the wee GWR IMP and share with Finlay. Any way this is the Golspie tread so who`s going to win?

Surprising how many people lurk but don't contribute ... we need to encourage more of them to be 'outed' ... Suggestions?!

Len,

If you text me we'll call you when we're near Golspie.

When I get your text, I'll edit this post to remove the number.

It's all a bit complicated because we have super-dog with us so I have no idea how log the journey will take (might have to make multiple piss stops).

Anyway definitely see you tomorrow - looking forward to that. smile

Got to go and help Steph with the rain dance now. wink

Cheers,

Eric smile

What a great weekend! Lots of good driving from all the class`s. Saturday was a better day for my team, Mr Brims driving around a problem with a f**ked damper was a little too much for me, so had my eyes closed a lot of the time. Mr Mutch did a good job with what is a standard engined car, though its not slow, and Mr Jolly seems to be getting better every time he`s out well done. Steve Mars 1st time run, good to see him getting to grips with his car and starting to hassle it around the track.
Sunday, Well done Donald, Fast, smooth, tidy and under the record from word go. Same goes for Alan Nicol, pipped by Craig .02, deserved the win i think, Mr Mutch did well considering he fell of the first timed run, still banged in a good time but you could tell he was holding back a little, and JR jumping into this class managed a 4th i think. Could do nothing to help Mr Brims though, Second overall not bad considering, so well done Colin. Mr Kiltie, Driving around a problem in the form of the Coc crossing the track in front of him, did well to compose him self, win the class and set a record. Realy feel for Wallace, i know only to well what he is going threw, so like i keep saying to my self, keep the faith, you will get there! Well i must get on with some work and a detox from all the northern hospitality, so i will leave someone else to speek about drives that i have left out. To all involved, THANK YOU !!!!!

Thanks to all the organisers and competitors who made it such a good event. I was only there on Saturday. My times were absolute s..t as usual, and I had two moronic offs in the infield, but thoroughly enjoyed Golspie once again. Spectacular track in spectacular surroundings and unbeatable hospitality.
