Wallace Performance, Units 17 & 18, Murcar Commercial Park, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8JW.

A couple of my friends use them quite a bit.

Juet spoke to Wallace Perf, will be £50 per pop and I need before and after runs so going to sting me £100! Just interested to know what gains I'll get from a decat, sports exhaust and K&N, hoping for circa 30-40hp.

Ferrari 348ts, chap down under got 20Bhp (proved on rolling road before and after) just by changing stock system to X-Ost. I'm hoping removing the cats and further improved breathing with a K&N might squeeze out another 10-15bhp. 40bhp total is perhaps a little optimistic though but I'm pretty sure 30-35bhp is obtainable!

Other good thing is it will save about 25kgs in weight and keep the engine bay much cooler, not to mention the awsome sound !!! biggrin

I have used Wallace a couple of times and the work that Russ provides is A1, bit costly but good service.

Yup, 2 x 800bhp rollers, 1600bhp 4wd should be enough for most !!!

Has anyone put a kit car with low ground clearance on any local rollers successfully. I tried at Ricky Gauld's but first the wheels spun on the rollers but then when I got in to add "some" weight (no rude remarks please!!) it bottomed out.

I know the problem, John - when we put the G22 on the rollers (40mm ground clearance!)we had to put the front wheels on ramps so that the car was sitting on the rollers at an angle - it looked a little odd, and you had the fear all the time that it was about to luanch into space, but it worked fine when tied down. We also put some larger road wheels in the back, so as not to sh*g the race tyres on the rollers...
