Bit naughty this chaps, but my sprint/hillclimb Locost's for sale in the Motorsport section of PH classifieds if anyone fancies a look!

But let me think - won't you be in Zanzibar so unable to sell it ...

John

It is under consideration, but would require the sale of a blue Striker to clear the way physically and in the mind of her indoors.

Better idea Murray - convert Her Indoors to the idea of having her own competition car... result!!

No problem Murray. I've had a couple of notes of interest, but obviously that's all they are at this stage. Good luck at Alford. How about entering the "Black Beauty" and giving it a try-out there? You can if you like.

idea ... and you'll be able to see what it's like to be in with the in crowd and what it's like to be in a class which goes faster than the Radicals. wink

JP - I fear a Radical might be a tad too hairy for me given that I have difficulty these days getting round anywhere without at least one bit of brake (brain) fade or a slightly overenthusiastic line. I have my eye on (don't laugh) a 205 in tarmac spec. A bit ropey but at least it has a roof for the British summers!

..As opposed to a Radnail which has been more like a fast(ish) bath this summer!

....Right - the new Prosport busa goes in Modified Class next season....wink

She who must be obeyed has no interest in going fast, (yes she would be comfortable in the car with me then), but there will be a new face at Alford, my son Neil will be acting as a tyre warmer for me.

John

Thanks for the offer but I will stick with the Striker for Alford, at least I know its handling foibles, not that it has any if a potential buyer is reading.

Thanks Lenny, but that's not in my plans at the moment. I know the Kwacker's a flier, but I'm honestly considering a move to a tin top believe it or not. As said elsewhere, getting a bit fed up getting soaked!
Well done this year by the way. I enjoyed being in the class, even though I was well off the pace. Great friendly bunch and the craic was always excellent.
What are you getting by the way? Not a fiendish single seater by any chance?!

Murray - just a thought....Does the Striker have an MOT? Or could you put it through one? MIght consider a swap.

John,

Murray's car is indeed MOT'd.

He'll be back home tomorrow (Tuesday).

Cheers,
