What a sick tt...........

I Heard a guy telling a joke today in a shop, told him I thought he was way out of order, he replied with "was he your f*cking dad or something"

I Had my company polo shirt on so I didnt say anything back, just shook my head, but something along the lines of "he is obviously not your dad, your a different colour from him.........." might have been my retort........

take from that what you will...............

Couple of arseholes. I'm just waiting for some arse to send me a 'joke' text, at which point they will be getting a major amount of abuse from me.

Have you reported it to ebay? Perhaps they could get it removed.

Hear Hear.

Actually, this is the first major tragedy I can remember where there have been no sick jokes doing the rounds within hours of the event. I think that should say all that needs said to any of the mouth breathers out there who fancy trying to be comedians about it about the publics respect for this man.

As a fellow helicopter pilot, and someone who knew Colin from my days in the garage trade and before his start with Subaru, the first clown to try and crack funny to my face about it will get my forearm down his throat.

If you scroll to the very bottom of the listing there is a 'Report this Item' listing, from there you can tell them you think it is inappropriate.

I did, and its too subtle for me obviously. I don't wish to be disrespectful.

I know that. What's the problem with the advert, or is it just the fact that someone is selling one of the cars he raced?

McRae was a hero to millions including me. OK the guy is cashing in a bit (OK a lot) but surely no worse than people who sell Senna stuff all the time? Senna's dead too.

Maybe he could have waited a little longer I guess. Maybe he needs the money for a good reason?

I suppose the issue is whether he's selling now to cash in given recent events or if it's just a coincidence in timing. He doesn't make any comments about Colin's death in the ad. If he's genuinely trying to sell the car then it's not fair to report him just because of Colin's death...

I dont speak the lingo of the advert, but I have no issue with the guy trying to sell his car in a legitimate manner. I also don't see anything on the advert that is a blatent 'cash in' re. the tragic events of late.

Easy to slate the seller (and yes, his timing is shite) but maybe he needs the money right now, cant wait for a time until sale, and the car would ahve been up for sale this week anyways? For example, I don't see the shops pulling the copies of the 'Dirt' Playstation game off the shelves.

He was a great guy, and I loved talking to him (I knew him from back in the Cosworth rallying days) and I used to hear him on 119.875 a lot when I was flying at the same time as him, but what can you do. Tragedy is to small a word, but people in the world get on with their lives.

What message did you send to him? What problem do you have? At what point do you think it is disrespectful?
