If I was able to get a bit more money from the insurance for my totalled Viper, I'd consider going for this car:

56 plate RS4 with 13k miles, £44k at Morrison Motors, Turriff.

That looks like a good deal to me as those things are like hen's teeth. Ex-demos were getting sold by dealers over list price a few months ago. Someone will get a nice car!

Y'know, friends of mine and I have been up to Morrison's a number of times over the years to look at interesting motors but there's always been something just not right about anything looked at. I don't mean to really do them down at all, but I've always walked away a little disappointed....minor details rather than major items. You should be OK if you get a 3rd party PPI done though I suppose.

Be careful. Alot of the cars they sell are non UK spec imports. Hence the reason they can sell them cheaper. My Uncle bought an RR Sport from them recently and it is the only example in that paritcular colour that I have seen in the UK. Plus there are bits it should have that it doesn't scratchchin

i know its a hellish accusation to make but i had a niggling doubt over a bimmer i looked at there a few weeks ago. Was a velvet blue 330ci, but 6 years old 5 owners, and just something didn't seem right. Cant put my finger on it but i just got that feeling, however i did enjoy the car and am looking for another.. somewhere...

I have a pal who is looking for an RS4 at the minute, and one pal who has had one for 4 months. Been for a spin in that, OK i am an Audi man an have been in all the previous RS models, and this i utterly love, also as i like NA engines. biased perhaps but i do like it... do Theives have any demo's left or have they shifted them as well?

Just read the other thread regarding your Crash - Sorry to hear that especially after viewing at the run last month. Viper was one of my dream cars when they first came out and it was a pleasure actually seeing one.

RS4's are great cars but lack the sense of occasion that your Viper would have gave you but maybe you have had your fix. I have found the same problem with my 911, great car but lacks the sense of occasion and fun-factor that my old Elise had. GT3 or a 360 is on my radar for next year.

very fair point, the viper does have a lot of drama... still not seen one in the flesh though. Only thing that troubles me about aberdeen is as soon as the latest greatest sports car comes out be sure that the previous owners cars will be traded in for the latest one... no disrespect anyone or indeed to the RS4 it does everything well, but in a formality. nothing like the drama of say the quattro sport. Its nice owning a car with a bit of kudos... not in the same league as you boys but i am buying newer and selling my 15 year old audi coupe which still makes me smile, i enjoy driving and owning it...

not 100% sure i know what i am trying to say but i think wanta996(gotta) knows what i mean...
