Kent supplier in scotland?

Anyone know of a Kent cams supplier up north? im having a real struggle trying to get a cam for a reasonable price.

i know of agra but no others.

quite funny this, as my engine is sat in the engine services workshop at the moment.

Trying to breach the limitations of the engine yeah, lots of work being done and all for a measly 130 bhp total lol gotta love old cars.

Make sure you have agreed price and stick to delivery date, they did work on my 1700cc last year, engine went in in Jan and did not get back until April 2 days before first race of season plus they blew my budget by £1500 without asking, all that to one side the egine work is great with 146bhp and road legal in Pre lit westfield, won CLASS A5 in Scottish Hills and Sprints championship.

I Know Alec has a few Engines on the bench for a few of the top stock car boys for the start of the season ( 1st saturday in March ) so make sure you get a definite date!!!

Well yeah im finding that out now, he aint quick at all, and he aint even building the engine for me just machining and balancing.

Another delay as i phone today hoping to collect the engine that was supposed to be finished on sat after 2 months, but nope the small end bearings were shot so couldnt ballance, fair enough not his fault but no phone call to say, just left it. grrrr.. Dropping off small ends tomorrow and re-arranged to collect on saturday, gonna look at his work tomorrow to make sure its up to scratch aswell.

I like the guy but very much of a carefree attitude doesnt inspire confidence.
