Name a place in perth and we will meet up with you guy's. Asbo has my number. Maybe catch a quick bite first?? Dobbies "might" be an option. Plenty parking.

B*gger! Not only am I having trouble with the carb today, but it looks like Matt will be getting out of hospital tomorrow so I may have to call off!

For those who know him Matt went in to have the pins in his leg removed. they decided to leave the lower one since the screws holding it had snapped and the remains of the screws in the pin would have ripped the inside of the bone when they tried to remove it. The did remove the upper one, this had been irritating the muscles around his hip, so he is well rid of it. He was told he could leave today but that was changed because they couldnt get the incisions to stop bleeding, hence it looks like tomorrow now. A pity since if he had got out today he would have come with me tomorrow.

OK I will make it if I can, but now hae am doots!

G
What type of father are you!!! Kidnapp him out of the hospital as he want's to go!!

Seriously, I hope you both make it as it would be great to catch up with you both. I saw the pics of Matt's accident and would like to meet the lucky son of a vette owner.biggrin

If all goes well Matt should get out in the morning, I saw him tonight and suggested he joined me in the afternoon, but he didnt feel that he would be able. I won't be able to go on track now but hopefully should get up at some point, just listen for the noise!

I'm bloody knackered! Was a good day, nice to meet some new people and get a blast round the track. Very pleased mine didn't break down en route, though god does it need new rear tyres!! Every sodding junction was an adventure into the realms of oversteer, and none of it deliberate!

Nice to meet Chris, Avril, Keith and Stuart (any others i may have forgotten!). Once i can be bothered to connect my camera to the computer i'll stick up some of the pics i managed to take!

Cheers

Went up to watch and ended up sneaking on midway through for half price. Car wasnt going particularly great with a rather dodgy amount of play in the front left wheel meaning the handling was a bit suspect.

Still managed to get a couple of decent sessions in.

Great to meet you guys, Esp Stang and Fugster, sorry I had to leave early but I was worried about my nuts freezing (on the vette of course). I had a great if bracing run back home (roof off of course), its amazing that the myth of 'yank cars cant take bends' still predominates (I will leave the rest to your imagination). Looking forward to the next one, I might just take it on track!
