Another Audi with some new bits!

Brakes and suspension, went for the KW Variant 3 coilover set up rather than the notorious Audi DRC system prone to failure and I am glad I did, transformed the handling totally!

Wheels refurbished

I raised the front another 20mm from this picture which was taken right after the suspension was fitted, it really had the DTM look whilst so low but not a lot of use for everyday!

Cheers Steven, what are you in these days?
I had a run out in a 4WD Cossie in white the other night, what a blast from the past that was too. It was my biggest want at one point

In the process of changing the engine in my Datsun 240z

Came with a Rover 3.5l V8 - Wouldn't have been my choice, surprisingly nice engine. Still available should anyone want to buy it hehe.

Putting in a Toyota 1JZGTE, 3.5L I6 Twin Turbo.

I thought about going RB but they are MEH engines in my personal opinion.

Still, straight 6, that's original! 1 more cam and two more turbos than stock tho biggrin

Using a supra R154 box (5 speed manual) but running the standard 240 diff to begin with. Ran into an issue last night where the flange that the prop bolts on to on the diff has been swapped for a much smaller one to take the rover prop so I either need to source a flange, make an adaptor plate or swap the diff. I didn't really want to do a full rear end conversion as money is getting tight as it is haha. It may come to that.

Either that or an OS Giken diff.

Shifter sits super far forward as well so need to come up with a solution to that.

Wow that's a bit of a coincidence, I think I passed you the other day on the Inverness side of the Maryburgh roundabout, I was in the blue Merc that flashed

Due to covering less miles, I sold my Octavia and bought this instead. Should provide me with more smiles per miles!
