Yeah its genuine, I've had it out to Fennel once and a few runs with some local guys.
It was in a friends garage for a while and then on my drive, now down at GT101 the specialist for these things, its getting a service, fresh door, window and clam rubbers and possibly a nose cone respray to deal with the stone chips. When it's back up in a few weeks I'll take it to fennel for a breakfast before I put it in proper storage for winter so will let you know and you can come see/hear it!
Would love a look at it as well, have seen a few photos of it already, didn't know it was yours! Love the GT! What power increase do you get from the whipple SC?
The mk2 Whipple puts power up from 560ish to 725bhp and 620lb/ft. The mk3 gives around 800bhp and they are bringing out a mk4 next year and 900bhp+ expected. In the US there are countless Hennessey GT cars with twin turbos 1000bhp+The standard engine and gearbox is good for nearly 1000bhp but at 800bhp you need to upgrade fuel pumps and fuel injectors.
To be honest, the 725 blows your head clean off,

Well since I sold this 2 years ago I had a fleeting ownership off a A3 3.2 v6 sport for a few months which was a rubbish car really. Sold it quickly. Since then I saved my ass off for a house and wedding and now the dust has settled I now have this garage toy. A lotus elise 111r. There is a thread up in the readers cars section. I went to a few PH runs when I had the RS so hopefully I will make a few in the new year.
Well that's the elise gone after 10 months of fun. Time for something a bit more sensible.
Eta the Ford Gt. Oh my. Lovely.

I've not really shown it off for various reasons but the bad weather and with the car being away for a service and spruce up I do miss it dearly, so here is my current P+J that I collected in June, so you think you've been in a fast car? not till you've experienced a 'whippled' Ford GT .
emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Wow!Edited by Hollowpockets on Tuesday 21st October 09:48

Was pretty close to it at a Knockhill track night in July. Well as close as you could be in a Fiesta XR2 haha! Edited by Hollowpockets on Tuesday 21st October 09:48
