I'll be taking a video camera, as will a few others, no doubt. We could probably pool together all our unedited footage and come up with a few different videos. Even those without a camera can download the 30 day fully-functioning trial of Sony Vegas (or similar software) and knock up a video/soundtrack, etc. It'd be good to get loads of footage from different cars, angles, etc.

My passenger will be doing most of the filming from my car, but I also have one of those "monster pod" mounting things http://www.odsoptics.com/details.php?id=370 which attaches to my dashboard nicely. An example I shot using it is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HBAobQbUmQ which also has a piece filmed through the tunnel.

Woohoo, I'm getting excited now. Roll on tomorrow! smile

I was over there today, and it was great top-down weather. Weather forecast for tomorrow is similar to todays, so fingers crossed it'll be dry and sunny.

Yep, great day, great weather, and loads of noise. Good to meet everyone and put a face/car to the names. Good job with the organizing, Matthew!

I've a few Gig of footage too. I'm editing out the crap, and will try to knock something together. It looks like there's something up with the footage of everyone driving past on Glenfruin rd, unfortunately. I have sound but no video frown They were the shots I was looking forward to most. I'll have a mess about with it and see if it can be sorted, but since all the other footage came out ok, I'm not holding my breath.

I reckon I've about an hours worth of footage, of which half is random feet/cloud shots. I'll delete as much of the crap as possible, and can send the remaining "raw" footage to anyone who fancies editing something together. Given that it'll be a gig or so, any suggestions how?
