Just checked the weather again and it says 16 degrees and light showers so it seems the heavy rain is taking a day off biggrin

Can't for 2 reasons:

1)Front ARB is getting replaced Sat morning - squeaks more than mouse porn at the moment and 2)Currently doing shedloads of work to the house ergo i'm completely skint!

Looking forward to watching some of the action!

Great fun tonight, mainly due to the wet weather with many off's. Particular shout out to the MX5 club, who were nothing like I'd imagined! Other notables were the Mach 1 Mustang, the Cobra (a real one), the silver Tamora, the old geezer in his Jag(?) who was absolutely flying and sideways through all the corners, and the Pug drivers. Thanks to all at Dreadnought for a great session.

That was an impressive duel you has with the Jag and the Radical - you had no right to be that quick in those conditions, particularly when I was struggling away in the 944.

the jag was a lister (not sure if it was a replica though) didnt half go in a straight line and the guy in the cobra was brave, you could see everytime he touched the throttle it just went sideways.

from the mx5 forum.

It is a pukka Lister C Type - me and WillTVR were talking to the older of the two guys driving it.

Must be worth a bomb!

Saw the Evo hitting the gren stuff - had to laugh, sorry bud biggrin (all those RWD and 2WD going around and it was a 4WD which went off).

Spoke to the guy with the Radical, I think if he had not run out of A)time and B)petrol he would still be out there laugh

Typical Knockhill in July - felt like 2 degrees and pi$$ing down - got back to Penicuik to blue skies!

Good night to spectate tho.

I was in the white Mx5. I had a great time and it was good to meet some car nuts as well. I really hope my slow car/driving skills didn't frustrate people too much! The first 30mins were very hairy as my Yoko A048's really didn't like the wet track, but once a dry line began to form I managed to press on a bit harder.
