Is it not illegal to take deliberately take pics of the poline now, or is that just in England? I'm not saying folk shouldn't take pics (I think we need to keep an eye on the polis as much as possible), I'm just wondering...
Well, actually, I'd rather not get done at all. The law about not being allowed to photograph the police is "to aid terrorism." I don't see how this image could be construed as doing that, so I should be okay. But in the UK, should I really have to worry about such things or did the "terrorists" actually win? I fear that they did.
(And before someone says it, it looked like an A4, but the closing speeds were large).
(And also before someone says it, there was a car in lane 1).

But is it the case in Scotland that it's illegal to take pics of the police now? Cos' my GF is thinking about joining and I'd hate not to be able to take anymore bedroom shots...
i thought it was only "in a public place" where you can't take photos of the police.so unless your bedrooms public then, snap away my good man, snap away!!

Is it true that in Scotland, there has to be 2 officers in the car before they can prosecute for something, or has video evidence done away with that?
Also, a warning for 87 on the M77 is very fortunate! Some of the 50 stretches there seem awfully slow, and call me cynical, but I'm always expecting a camera van or some kind of speed enforcement to pop up there. Be like shooting fish in a barrel...
It wasn't a warning, I was lucky that the police were following a clio speeding, I was just matching their speed behind the coppers, when I decided I was bored and tried to overtake I got a 'slowly slowly' wave hand gesture, just before the blue's & Two's came on for the clio. Also, a warning for 87 on the M77 is very fortunate!
