The police have an unmarked silver 57 reg bmw 5 series estate in and around Linlithgow. It is rapid. You have been warned.

Active round Edinburgh too - saw him this morning on the M8 / M9 link (the 50mph bit) just having stopped some poor sod just before the speed camera - for which he'd presumably braked, thereby admitting he knew he was speeding...

There but for the grace of god go I ...

Yeah, have also seen this on the bypass. I've seen it with lights on. Looks smart!

M8 just before turn off for Brahead and Xscape(Glasgow) - Suprisingly a silver Skoda Octavia? Are Strathclyde police in the midst of the Credit crunch or taking the stealth option.

There is also a unmarked Blue Omega up in Aberdeenshire. Saw him belting it on Friday with the Blues on the go.

That one told me to slow down after I attempted to overtake it at 86mph on the M77, lucky boy!

Any chance you could post the picture, if it was a GT3RS at Lathallan roundabout I know the guy who was driving it.
I'm sure he would like to be reminded of it.

He was going round the outside of a Toureg that decided to take a turn off. Clipped the back end and spun into the kerb and overturned. The RS was written off, the owner has just sold the replacement and bought another one. Bloke in my office is best mates with the guy driving it and knows the owner quite well.

Saw him pull over a 911 on the M77 not too long ago as well.

Also, I think I've spotted the old Eaglesham Moors unmarked Cosworth cruising about here quite a bit recently! redface

Another new one - again stealth or penny pinching. A black BMW 330D.

I recently saw the Volvo in Grangemouth opposite the Renault garage with a Mercedes pulled over.

The rear windscreen had "POLICE" spelt out in LED type lights taking up the entire rear screen. Looked quite cool.

Well it's cool unless it pulls you over in which case it's not so cool at all.....frown

The Volve quite often sits on the distributor road in Falkirk - the road that goes from the big roundabout at the Falkirk Stadium towards Bainsford, etc passing the ASDA depot. Although it could be they've just parked up for breakfast?

Is it true that in Scotland, there has to be 2 officers in the car before they can prosecute for something, or has video evidence done away with that?

Also, a warning for 87 on the M77 is very fortunate! Some of the 50 stretches there seem awfully slow, and call me cynical, but I'm always expecting a camera van or some kind of speed enforcement to pop up there. Be like shooting fish in a barrel...
