Now that's what a police car should look like smile

I passed a marked up 09-plate Jaguar XF this morning in Falkirk just outside the college, and it looked superb. I think it's a dark grey/silver colour, but it really suits the full police livery. Good stuff, so much better looking than your average/BMW police car biggrin

Last night on the A8 between Ingliston and Ratho (they have a 40mph temp speed limit for Truck Fest) seen a car pulled by a black Toyota pick up! U.S. style blue light on top, the single one that the passenger throws up on the roof and its held by a magnet.

I was just about to post about that Hilux. Saw the same pull - was with my friend in her white MR2 on the way to the karting.

Think it was dark blue, though. Very strange.

If you are in the Linlithgow area there is also an unmarked gunmetal grey Audi A4. It's only identifiable if you look closely at the front grille and you can see the blue flashers.

Got a few mates who have been stopped or flashed to slow down. They don't have any speed monitoring equipment but they can give you a warning and give your car a red flag on whatever database they use.

I know that they like sit around the 40mph stretch along past Springfield heading towards the motorway on the Blackness road, they sit next to the Springfield entrance.

Also if you live in Linlithgow, they High Street is quite common for an Astra Estate with all the livery to be driving around, no matter what time of night. I was doing 85mph along the High Street at 2 in the morning and for some reason unknown to me, I braked and sailed past the DisAstra at 30mph. Would definitely had my license revoked as 85 is four and half times the speed limit along the High Street.

Hope this helps folks. Being a young driver I am instantly earmarked so it's good to know where the traps are.

The police tour round linlithgow high street at all times of day and night in anything from a liveried up transit connect to a motorway pursuit Mercedes E class estate.

I didn't know about the A4 cheers for that and anyone that's daft enough to drive down the high street at 85mph deserves to be caught.

Police in Stirling now have at least one Smart Car in full police livery. Be very afraid.

Looks like I'm the idiot then...

I don't plan on doing that again, I just wanted to see how fast I could take it.

And I'm sure all you guys are absolutely perfect, law abiding drivers... yeah thought so...

There's not abiding by every law in the book.....then there's driving through a town centre at 85mph.
Then there's trying to deflect criticism by likening it to other people's actions.
fk me, the standard of driving is as st as the standard of posters on PH these days.

The only thing I could think of needing to drive at 85mph for on linlithgow high street is because he was trying to achieve 88mph.

Well, how else are you supposed to generate the 1.21 giga-watts of power required for the flux capacitor?
