I got 92 miles using no petrol!! So i beat you all, although i really wish i hadn't!!

Still getting quotes for the repair of the car, biggest cost is the wheel, which will cost as much as a Nissan Micra!

Hey Guys!
This was the first PH run I was on (with the exception of the HH)and was in with Andy in his FTO, didn't think my wee Leon would be able to keep up with the pace. Oh and not having any brakes wouldn't help either. Hope everyone had a good drive and glad your ok paul.

So how many people were suprised by a burgundy rover on the M74??? That thing was shifting closely followed by a couple of more upmarket cars from group 1.

Good to meet all of you

Andy

15 MPG's a small price to pay for that glorious V8 burble Hugh! I had my window down all the way from Edinburgh to Lesmahagow as you were in front, lovely.

just like to add my vote of thanks to the organisers for a good run out. Only my 3rd outing in the car this year and certainly the twistiest roads I've been on. I particularly like the sheep that decided to cross in front of me just as the Ferrari came up behind me, think it was still looking at the maniacs in front of us. looked decidely annoyed that it had to jog to avoid being a new bonnet ornament on my car lol. I really need to get out and get some practice in on roads like that more often.

Not at all, enjoyed being behind you on the route up from NS, just a shame that muppet in the SAAB didnt look in his mirror and see the convoy of georgous looking cars behind him and pull his car over to let us pass! He obviously doesnt understand that on these days the roads are ours!

Sorry to hear the car needed a little work after the run, hopefully not too expensive!!

Just like to say a big thanks to Paul and Andrew for organising this run, it was my first Pistonheads run and I had a blastbiggrin

Really sorry to hear about your mishap Paul and hope the damage isn't too costly or time consuming to get sorted.

As a side note I went through 2 tanks of fueleek

If some of it involves a blue freelander and a strap, id like to see it, out of curiosity really.

Can be pm'd or emailed if you prefer.
