Cop Cars - Unmarked - What & Where, as much detail on cars!!

I think a black X5 ranks up there with the silver Octavia Strathclyde had a couple of years ago as the most covert unmarked cars!!

Remember seeing the Octavia pulling someone over on the M8, at that time, and probably still, every private hire cab in Glasgow was a silver Octavia!

Can't be sure of the colour what with the streetlights but there was a big (presumably 5 series) dark Beemer sat in front of me at lights in Glasgow city centre having just come off the M8. No badges on the back but the back window was full of lights. They weren't on or anything but I doubt it's a disco enthusiast.

I had a sniff around it when it was in the garage today.

Hi guys,

I have seen/spoken to a fair few unmarked police in the past few months due to my car looking "boyracerish" and the police seem to pull me over regularly just to check things over, which is a complete pain!

I was stopped in Oxgangs, Edinburgh by a black 51 plate Peugeot 307 a few weeks ago, 07 Plate silver Vauxhall corsa in Prestonpans and later on a BMW 330 I think, the woman told me it was a 3litre anyway!

All I can say is that the Police are getting more and more sly with the cars they use these days and that they are out to catch speeders!

So whatever you do, DONT SPEED !

Green mk2 focus going into cop shop at ibrox SF* *CYE. I dont see the point in spending mega bucks on countless unmarked cars. The pubic moan about police presence so why put so many unmarked cars on the road. Seems daft to me, be a deterint not a punishment.

Central Scotland's finest have a very discreet gold 5 series BMW.
Have seen it a couple of times this week in the Falkirk area and the laddie at work has spotted it in Alloa.

Just saw this one in Glasgow City Centre. It has strange lights that are sitting above the bonnet at the windscreen side. Presumably LEDs or strobes but when you see it during the day they look rather silly!!

And that white light at the back is actually the Blue flashing lights

Just doesn't look like it in the photo

Wow, that is unusual! I wouldn't have thought they'd be on active patrol in something like that, but seems they've pulled a motorist over in your picture. Interesting!
