Hello, all.... Is there a thread about speed gun locations. First time today to see them in Fenwick Road, Giffnock (A77) near the Merc Garage. They stayed for about half an hour then left to Braidholm Road...
A
I used to stand on that same spot when I worked out of Giffnock Police Office as a Special - one of the more justifiable locations as it's a busy area.A

Do unmarked police cars tend to have English registrations nowadays? I had always assumed a further sign its an unmarked police car was the fact it would have a local registration for the area its in, e.g. SP or ST at the beginning of the registration for Tayside/Fife area, SV or SW Aberdeen, SY Inverness way etc.
Suppose it depends, I've personally seen the "MJ" audi kicking about in the last year or so, what it might be is they are cheaper to buy down south but that's another topic, I drive an Audi and it's from Stafford/Birmingham "B? Plate" saved a ton of money on list versus buying up here if anybody wants to buy one :-) Plus I've heard in the past cop cars can run on "ghost" plates and have multiple tags registered to them if they want to for security reasons, never actually seen that happening up here though.
