Strathclyde has obviously just taken delivery of a lovely new 3 series BMW in inconspicuous white which has been patrolling the whole stretch of the M80 both directions.
I travel Glasgow - Dundee x3 a week only just seen it appear within the past fortnight.
Extremely low profile, with DRL's and with it being white the clear LED's are pretty tough to spot, and it lacks aerials etc.
I've seen it 'stealth' behind a golf GTI which was going 70-75 in the fast lane in the 50 section of the M80 into Glasgow, obviously collecting evidence before pulling it.. and also seen it 'stealth' behind a white transit which was all over the road, across the white line, for about 2 minutes, heading out of Glasgow on a 70 stretch again probably collecting footage before he put the blues on.
Yes, that will be the one I saw.I travel Glasgow - Dundee x3 a week only just seen it appear within the past fortnight.

a new bmw 3 series saloon, 4 door, unmarked, no obvious lights or aerials in Edinburgh city centre on Monday 02/02/15
Was this white? Some poor sod was racing this on Saturday morning (heading towards Falkirk) and didn't realise it was unmarked car.
It was a Grey Fabia Skoda if anyone wants to own up!
Hi Folks, I'm new to the forum.
An unmarked Audi A4 (Reg.MJ61YRW) was seen this morning on Caulfield Road, Cradlehall, Inverness, having stopped a Skoda Yeti. Caulfield Road has a 30mph speed limit and passes adjacent Cradlehall Primary School. I have seen many cars being stopped by unmarked cars along this stretch of road. The dark grey Audi A4 is a 3 litre model and first registered in Manchester. Since the introduction of average speed cameras on the A9 between Perth and Inverness there has (from official figures recently released) been a marked decrease in the number of drivers caught speeding (and convictions). It is thought that there is a campaign in the Highlands to catch speeding drivers away from the A9 in and around Inverness. The A96 between Inverness and Nairn is a current favourite - the long straight at Gollanfield is tempting to put foot down. "Be careful out there" as Sgt.Esterhaus used to say at the Hill Street roll call...

Lf14 srv. May actually have been a 3 series after getting a better view of it again today just before jct2 of the m8 eastbound just before 2pm this afternoon.
It is a 3er and that is the registration Passed it on the big dual carriageway in Livingston earlier. It had pulled someone over in a bus stop - hope there's nae buses coming!
spotted 2 within 5 minutes today!
so i'm heading north on the A78 with the cc @ 75. I slowly catch up and pass a silver Astra. As I pass him he immediately pulls out behind me into lane 2. I pull into lane 1 and knock the cc back to 70. As the Astra comes past I glance over to see the 2 coppers. I didn't spot the SF plate the first time I came by. D'oh. They pull back into lane 1 and we sit in convoy at 70 for the next 5 miles or so.
Then as we are doing our 70mph convoy (a few other cars have now joined us) we reach the 3 lane section at Irvine. In one of the laybys is a dark 3 series with what looked like an officer crouching down beside the open passenger door with I assume the speed gun on us.

Dark BMW 3 series SF14 NKW
