Hello, all.... Is there a thread about speed gun locations. First time today to see them in Fenwick Road, Giffnock (A77) near the Merc Garage. They stayed for about half an hour then left to Braidholm Road...

I used to stand on that same spot when I worked out of Giffnock Police Office as a Special - one of the more justifiable locations as it's a busy area.

New 3 series saloon on the M77 duties - dark coloured (I think it was black). Probably 14/64 plate by the newness of it as I passed.

Not much details as it was on the opposite hard shoulder and I was at motorway speed

Sneaky unmarked Audi S3 3dr in silver doing the rounds in Edinburgh. SB09 something.

Has a pair of roof bars on it, the front are fitted with very discreet strobes. Was stalking the south side last night.

Suppose it depends, I've personally seen the "MJ" audi kicking about in the last year or so, what it might be is they are cheaper to buy down south but that's another topic, I drive an Audi and it's from Stafford/Birmingham "B? Plate" saved a ton of money on list versus buying up here if anybody wants to buy one :-)

Plus I've heard in the past cop cars can run on "ghost" plates and have multiple tags registered to them if they want to for security reasons, never actually seen that happening up here though.

Dunfermline have a grey BMW estate that has a few different plates EA10 VFS/OW60 FDK/SP10 CVZ

You really 100% sure about that? I genuinely find it hard to believe that they would change the reg numbers of a police car - at the end of the day I don't think they get any dispensation from DVLA re registration rules?
