Cop Cars - Unmarked - What & Where, as much detail on cars!!
Discussion
It would all be fine if the polis were reasonable about things. I got done not so long ago for not stopping at a red light. But I did stop (which they acknowledged). But I was thinking about something else and 'went' when another nearby light went green, which I caught in the corner of my eye. The police stopped me and breathalised me (I was 100% sober). I explained that it was a simple mistake but overly serious cop said 'I have no option but to charge you'. Lies pig, you do have the option and don't insult my intelligence saying you don't!!

Know exactly what you mean, my mother was out and had parked in her local Main Street, Burnside and her back wheel was just on the end of the zig zags, she came home in absolute tears because of the bking and humiliation of everyone staring at her with the police with blue lights on and everything and then let her away with it. I told her she should have just told them 'if your going to give me a ticket for it then do it if not just walk away!' this was some litte naff in a uniform obvioulsy on some sort of power trip, bet he got back into his car with his mate sniggering at it! i know a couple of guys who are police officers and honestly I wouldnt let these guys take my dog a walk, thick as sh*t!
But hey getting way of course with a simple notice for a heads up on unmarked police cars!!

I have not been pulled over since i was 18, some 12 years ago however I got pulled over the other day by a marked X5, I pulled over and jumped out straight away and he mentioned it was to do with my licence plate not having the correct spacing. M4T DA should have been M4 TDA. I kept my mouth shut the whole time and didnt even look at the guy. I have had police officers ask to sit in the car and get photos etc, not batting an eyelid about the registration plate because they KNOW there are far more serious offences out there that actually warrant pursuing. My text style was correct, it was only that the T was 10mm out.
I have a lot of respect for the police and have no qualms about marked or unmarked cars but PC M HYND, GET A LIFE YOU NUGGET AND SHOVE YOUR 30 QUID UP YOUR IDIOTIC TIME WASTING BUTT!

And if your plate was legit and not apparently altered then they would be wasting their time dealing with someone else.I have a lot of respect for the police and have no qualms about marked or unmarked cars but PC M HYND, GET A LIFE YOU NUGGET AND SHOVE YOUR 30 QUID UP YOUR IDIOTIC TIME WASTING BUTT!

I got done for that as well, text style was absolutley fine just the spacing, very similiar to yours, not only did I have to pay the fine but I then had to change the plates and take it to an MOT centre for them to confirm that it had been done.........thanks goodness there was no way that there was any other more serious crimes going on, they must have detained me for roughly 20 mins whilst taking pics of the plate and giving me my ticket etc, how many cars do they thing are stolen per minute in the UK these days???I have a lot of respect for the police and have no qualms about marked or unmarked cars but PC M HYND, GET A LIFE YOU NUGGET AND SHOVE YOUR 30 QUID UP YOUR IDIOTIC TIME WASTING BUTT!

Not sure if they still have it but somebody in tayside has a sense of humour. From my travelling sales rep days i remember seeing a tayside police car on the dual carriage ways either side of Dundee with the registration P999TAY. Youve got to hand it to them, cheeky gets, but funny.
On another note, Im sure that every unmarked police car in the uk is legally entitled to have upto 10 sets of plates registered against it. I may take some flak on this (and stand to be corrected) but i'm sure this is the case, so best stick to descriptions only.
