Cheers guys, good comments.

We are organised (I think) with toilets and food within immediate proximity of the start. We will take into account a toilet stop at mid point in moring and afternoon and we are aiming to try and get everybody into the same place for lunch.

At present i think we are looking at 2hrs in the morning and about the same in the afternoon. The biggest thing apart from the best roads possible is to try and allow for a way of people from different groups of mates to get to meet each other.

hope this helps

cheers guys

(and thanks Si for keeping the list updated)

If it's a central/Stirling starting point then there's Stirling Services as a meeting point with toilets. The only (pretty major) issue with meeting there is the exit onto the roundabout is always busy and it's impossible to keep groups together on exiting there IME.

Could alternatively meet somewhere like the Springkerse retail park and make use of the Burger King or Morrisons facilities smile

Gutted I'm missing the most local run to me frown

Sounds like a good run but I'll be in Japan when it's on. I'll be going to the Japan v Scotland game that day....I hope we don't get hammered!

Hey ally, its not easy getting a space with facilities for us all. The sat night boy racer brigade dont help the locals need to facilitate our requests. However we have it all in hand and are looking forward to the day.

I am now beginning to appreciate how much Si put in to the run, even just down to ensuring the list is fully upto date, thats my homework for tonight.

I'll be meeting up with flipflop tonight to discuss a few routes. Hopefully his route planning will be of a higher standard than his driving!!!
I've got a cracken route planned out with toilet stops, photo stops and of course lunch. Might be modified or changed if flipflop-Boy doesn't agree - i'm sure we will end up with a really good route.

The August run organised by Si was a good mix of roads and i had a blast. I did think at one point i was going to piss myself, so had to stop on the way to Duns. The first section i felt was a bit narrow for the amount of cars, with any over-taking places being a bit tight. Didn't come up behind any traffic at that point which was good. Selkirk/Kelso on was fantastic. Planning on sticking to roads that aren't too narrow and all have road markings. We will have a couple of stops to allow everyone to meet up, so hopefully no-one gets lost.

Looking forward to it, surprised how many cars already - alot of credit to Si for arranging a good day last time. Will keep you updated
Cheers Guy & Gals

Im in this time.
The recoverylander is back, freshly serviced and running better, slightly smokey under full boost but fine otherwise. The recovery strap is also being brought along, (just incase) should have my new wheels on and the front fogs and spots fitted as well. smile

My fronts are down to 3mm, hoping my new wheels can come with decent tyres so i can swap straight over.

The recovery strap has been used before on these runs, certain lovely white lambo knows all too well.

I know im in the slow group so that doesnt bother me in the slightest smile

Can see how its remap shows, 157bhp and 330lb ft should make it better hehe

Yeah it was commented on at the last run that it would be nice to have a few more westies and a certain white lambo joining us for the day. Still plenty of time tho

After a slightly wet and a few slidey moments stup has got his new tyres on his turbo. Now you've officially slacked him off flipflopy (user name after his willie) you better hope your driving is of adequate standard. I know stu is going to be busy setting up another turbo for someone, so will probably hear last minute if he can make it.

My wife keeps asking me how many cars going now!!! I've managed to convert her, 'cause leading up to the last one i was told to stop talking about it or she was going to kill me.

After stupidly running near slick pzeros on last run when i had a new set of Mich pilots in garage,as Kmm has mentioned the new tyres are on!!!..so the near 500hp rain or shine is gonna be put down on the tarmac!.So you wimpy 4x4 drivers(Kmm flip flop) better be looking over your right shoulders for me passing ya..ha ha!

Yeah, I did mate. When they named it the center of excellence, they should of named it the center of totty. I loved that gym, hundreds of hungry little student girlies all ready to be abused for the price of a pint and a plate of beans on toast.

Now I'm old and bald thats all f*cked but then again if you beleive fatboy sorry KMM I'm past it anyways.

And this time I hope not to be using the your recovery services!!! Got the car back on wednesdsay after horrendous delays getting parts, and now up to get paint done! If this was a fiesta would have taken 4 days and cost a £1000!
