Christ, you lot are atrocious - someone bins his pride and joy and you're clamouring for photos.

Human nature isn't it? Eg. You hear about 2girls1cup and you can't help but watch it hehe
Glad everyone is okay and he managed to miss the poster on pg1 that was infront of him, looks suprisingly solid for having rolled into the tyres.

did you just accidentally enter this thread and comment then or like everyone else were u curious.

i was there and was held up by the accident, and wanted to see if anyone else knew what happened. if something like that happens on the circuit while you are there its fairly natural curiousity to want to know if the bloke is alright and what happened.

he hit the wall at speed and ended up on his roof.

I'd suggest the damage is unlikely to t-cut out wink
Ah, I knew I recognised your username and was trying to figure out who you were... I'm the bloke you met up with in Falkirk and took out for a test drive in your VX 12 months ago (cheers for that). I wussed out though, went for a bit more comfort at the expense of not track-daying tongue out
Wuss !

YOu'll be glad you chose comfort at this time of year, and then gutted in the summer ;o)

I happily walked past my completely iced up VX this morning and jumped in le shed !

Looks like remarkably little damage for going in to the tyres and ending up on its side. Guess those foam wall things do their job!

You're only allowed to call him a wuss if you're driving the VX in this weather! wink

Would like to add to this; Gingernuts said he had a picture from a marshall and may post it up later. One other from user said
"just the aftermath, overheard someone say they had the whole accident as it happened on a fast shutter fancy dan camera....hopefully they'll post them up." Everyone else asked about pictures of their own cars. I don't really think that everyone was glamouring for photos, but more interested in what had caused the accident and was the driver ok.

If it was my car and i saw this thread, i would not have been offended by the posts. Hope all is well, stunning car.

Gingernuts, appreciated the wave on Sunday, i knew it was you as you were passing. Trust you had a good day at the track!!

Driver is OK, I took him home.
Pedal went straight to the floor after initial bite.
Driver is a veteran trackdayer and XR2 racer, kinda knows what he is doing in a car BUT it could happen to us all , it is a big heavy car and the brakes take a massive punishment at K'Hill without much chance to cool. I've driven home twice on the handbrake only, after tracking here, my fault , I was having too much fun.
Ironicaly he was going to come in prev lap but was having too much fun....

I have to say if it had been me I would not really want my binned pics on a forum. Who's to say the driver is insured for taking on a track. Although if he is a regular then I would assume he would have.

I know of one driver who had hassle on a warranty due to pics been posted on PH of him and his P&J on at KH.

Glad the driver was ok. Not a nice way to see a GT500 frown

I was coming back from a meeting at Motherwell today and saw the Mustang on the back of a low loader.

It didn't look too bad and i hope it's repairable.

It's never nice for it to happen and after what happened to our mutual friend then posting pics isn't the wisest thing IMO.

gutted for the guy, its a horrible thing to happen to anybody.

haha yeah it was a hard choice, cold windy knockhill or a wet run round perthshire on semi slicks. ended p out on track even tho i just went to spectate (couldnt resist), was great fun but frustrating combo of cold tyres, and getting overtaken on the straights only to be up people arses on the corners. only one cure .....more power!!!

Hi, I have some pictures from the day.
I was in the Familly Car! The Silver AMG Estate.
If people put up what they were driving I will fish them out.
I have a couple of the white RX and various others.
I will put them on tommorrow.
Cheers
