Hi Slipstream 1985. Yes sorry no dogs as it's a full on motorsport event, very noisy cars in a tight enclosed area, just wouldn't be fair or safe to bring any animals near the place.
Don't worry about date just fill it in and pop it back and we will add you to the enrty list.
Cheers!

Thanks for that. thumbup I've never been, so wasn't sure what the split was like between static stuff and motorsport-y activities.

Totally understand why the rule is in place, but unfortunately I can't go if I can't bring my dogs, so I'll have to withdraw the offer of my car. frown

Does this mean it's an event regulated by the UK Motorsports Association? As an FIA Competition Licence holder, I'm not allowed to take part in a 'motorsport event' which is not regulated by the MSA...... Do you have insurance cover for a motorsport event?

Sorry it will have motorsports cars involved I should have said, rather than a motorsports event. Rally cars and sprint cars giving demonstrations and auto tests but not competing or timed. Road cars will be on display and take part in parade laps. You can come along park up and watch or take part in a parade lap if you like it's up to you.

Pretty sure that is a long standing rumor, but is not mentioned in the MSA blue book(or yellow if you do really mean FIA?) about taking part in other events, Also i don't think Ems33 meant it as an msa event anyway?

I now understand that this is NOT a 'motorsport event', but just to quash your suggestion about a long standing rumour......

2010 MSA Blue Book, P70:

1.1. Each of the following is a breach of these regulations and will lead to disciplinary action being taken:
.
.
.
1.1.10. To organise, advertise, enter for, drive in, officiate at, or in any manner whatsoever take part in, a competition, or championship, not organised in accordance in all respects with these regulations.

I trust that's as clear as necessary. I'm honestly not a jobsworth, and most of the time I dislike some of the stuff in the blue book, but I can't sit back and let people believe that what's in there isn't there at all. ;-)

Well it was really nice to see such a lovely well behaved dog at the event. It was never my rule not to allow them I don't know where it came from. Sorry I couldn't do a pic for P&J pet's portrait though but I think readers have to submit them themselves. ;-) Cars were looking amazing as always. :-)
