Your girls come to the right place, its all you can eat!

Robert for the catering numbers can you add 8 adults and 4 kids for the bbq (all locals living in the village inc katie and angus and familly)

Unlucky mate, hopefully see you on the next one. It's always a pleasure sucking on your exhaust fumes & hanging on to your ass (car's ass - that is). Must get myself an RS4 or bigger turbos!!

Updated list for the run & BBQ.
If your name is down we will presume that you are going on the run and going to the BBQ.
2 for the BBQ means you +1
If you are wanting to go to the run only or the BBQ only then that is fine also.

It should be a good day out. This is our 4th Stirling run, but the first BBQ. There are alaways a few runs on with Paulqv & AndrewMG looking after the Glasgow runs. They also have a meet once a month mid week. Keep an eye on the forum and i'm sure we will see you at one of the get togethers.
Kenny.

Hi, I have never been to a 'run'. Is the run part just from your house to the castle or is there any other driving involved? Oh and would I be welcome as I have not been a PH member for too long. Cheers.

Hi, everyone is welcome.
For the Stirling runs we normally meet at Stirling services around 0930 and then go for a nice run somewhere. Last run was up through Glen Coe with a lunch stop. Around 220miles of driving finishing at 1530.

I've got a route planned out, which will take us up to around 14.00 hrs approx, then to the castle for the BBQ. It should be a really good day, so add your name to the list if you want to go. Any more info required then just ask.
Kenny.

hey huys, quick update (apologies its not short).

Kenny has the run nailed and its looking good.

I was up at the castle today to get a chat with the owners and see how things went with the tvr boys bbq. Set up is perfect, lots of tarmac for parking and having a nosey at the cars in stationary position. Loads of space for eating /sitting in the sun and also a great hall for eating/sittiung/chatting if the weather is a bit unkind.

Its obv been a busy summer for a lot of us petrolheads with le mans, ring trips, french trips, the lotus weekend, hh fast approaching and judging by the castle owners banter today there is plenty of brilliant banter and stories of outrageous speeds upsetting the french police to be swapped.

I know there are a lot of people planning on coming who havent put their names down yet but if you can do please get your name down just to help with food etc. I can only do my best to encourage you but the castle are only too well aware it will be the usual last minute rush. Can you please also keep us inofrmed of anybody just coming to the bbq (and any family or friends coming, who are all welcome) likewise anybody just coming for the run.

We are also going to look at the set off formatt slightly differently this time, this is mainly to assure a lot of the emails (from outside ph mainly)questioning overtaking etiquette on the runs. We are relying on the regulars to show a lot of the newbies that ph runs are not boy racers days out but courteyous and well driven runs.

Thanks guys (and gals) get your names down and come and enjoy what is shaping up to be a great run, great food and great banter.

Cheers

Flip

Ps - apologies to the emails I havent replied to yet, on all matters, im overloaded at work at the moment so will get back to you asap.

training for the 25th starts tomorrow at 8.15am, my first trackday in the angry little bumble bee with roid rage, crack withdrawal and a nasty case of the farmer giles (thats the cars mood - not my symptoms).

To improve matters somewhat sidc have kindly laid on a free instructor in the form of a touring car driver. Its just a pity Im about to ruin his day with my complete lack of driving skills.

Anyways, better get yourself in shape fat boy, sorry, kmm, and get the yellow banana ready to eat some lotus dust..... see ya on the 25th. Or at least that would be the case if we werent on the queens highways and we will all be driving legally getmecoat

1.You can't half talk some pi#h.
2.Your lack of driving skills ain't my problem.
3.My yellow banana is doing just fine and is tucked up all nice and clean in my garage.
4.Lotus dust...i wasn't aware it exsisted. I've seen some OJ dust and some Stu dust.
5.I think you need to re-read #1 & 2.

Looking forward to the 25th, just try not to hit any kerbs trying to catch up. I think you were about 5 miles behind me at the time.
As they say....you can kiss my ring....all four of them!!!

Good to see you signed up Fluff. How is the new car going?
