Seen in the village of Hope near Wrexham, a unmarked white BMW 5 series estate, registration CX 60 DVW, probably returning to its base on Zone 1 of Deeside Industrial Park. This car together with CX60DVP (also an unmarked white BMW 5 series estate based on the park) will probably at some point in the future have all the full markings added when one of the marked cars get damaged in an accident. Something to watch out for.

60 plate white 5 series estate. Being driven by a police officer who does not understand the function of indicators. Whilst he went all the way around the roundabout (near wxm ind est) at some speed, without indicating, the artic next to me had to make an emergency stop.
Due to the speed he was doing and the lack of indication, both the lorry driver & myself thought he was going straight on!

Just seen 2 of these white BMW 5 series estates with sequential plates on the A55 50mph stretch at Colwyn Bay.

What appear to be average speed camera gantries have sprung up east of Llandudno Junction on the A55; has there been some work going on here or is this the start of a new speed enforcement zone?

I hope not, although I’m surprised they haven’t been put up sooner.

The average speed cameras are temporary and only there for the roadworks in the tunnels next year, they are not to be switched on until January when the 40mph speed limit comes into force. Either way I wont be taking any chances for the time being.

On another note, I have heard rumors of an unmarked Transit connect operating in the Bangor/anglesey area.

Not got any registrations, but seen several e60 shape 5 series, all estates and all dark blue or white pulling people over the last week.
Mainly A55 St Asaph towards Queensferry but also A483 Wrexham and around Mold.

There's been a few new marked and unmarked BM's around Bangor lately, haven't caught any reg's as of yet. But take caution, they've been doing there best to show them off the past few nights.

Saw an unmarked black/very dark blue Range Rover with private reg: E4 MGB today on the A55 (Black Cat roundabout), pulled over and lit up like a Christmas tree with concealed blues & twos.

Just saw a silver Audi A5 pulling someone on this stretch this morning, not sure if this one has been spotted before. They certainly have some top of the range cars.
