North Wales unmarked Police cars

did you see picture in sun newspaper recently of a north wales cop pointing a speed camera out of the back of a horsebox parked at the side of a busy road, brunstrom is unbelieveable!!

One of the skodas is armed response so it may have just been that he didn't have any way of checking your speed!!!! and Was he on his own??

Hi, yes, he was on his own, and I think he had a dark blue shirt on!

Hi mate, can confirm the Volvo - I got CX05 D?F (poss DXF) with an extra mirror on the passenger side, and additional antennas on the back of the roof, and blues and twos visible under the front grill that can be seen pretty close up.

I'm pretty sure that it's a V70.

As for the mondeo you mentioned, is it the new ish (triangular lights) but not the 'brand new' one? Think I've seen that one about, it's more of a burgendy red tho... but that might be another one?!

I spotted a scruffy white previous generation BMW 5 Sseries in Menai Bridge police station, I thought it was just a parked car, but was deffo a opperational police car. Surveillance car?

Dark Blue Ford Galaxy V6 CX52 WXZ - Parked opposite the Racecourse (Wrexham footie ground) today with blues and twos either side of the blackedout rear window, and again blues and twos under the front grill... also had a extra areal and a couple of red lights in the rear too!

Silver Skoda Octavia Estate CX57 ABF... pulled on the sliproad down to Rhostyllen roundabout (under the A483) full blues and twos in the rear window (not blacked out) and about 2/3 areals too...

Just wondering is it wrong that as soon as I see these cars now I reach for my phone to text the info to myself (so I can get it on here) even though using phones/driving is illegal and I'm right next to the police! lol... the things we do eh?

Spotted a Mazda 323 yesterday on A55 coming past Colwyn Bay. Metallic Blue. Scratched. Has pulled someone before near Llandudno.

Seen this morning on the A55 in Colwyn Bay (50 section), unmarked silver BMW 5 series estate had pulled some poor sap! Again think it was a CX57*** (I think) blues & 2's in front grill and rear window only! No obvious ariels that I noticed but it was peeing it down! Did have the 'shark fin' ariel on the roof, only other feature I saw.

I saw the same car myself yesterday, around the mold turn off of the A55, this car had a little domed mirror on top of the passengers side mirror, Its a 530d by the way.

Noted the Silver Skoda this morning, cheers for the warning! He had pulled some poor lad on the road between Rhyl & St Asaph! God they manage to get around!

Have seen the silver Skoda Estate CX57 reg parked hidden down the side of some houses on Caernarfon Road through bangor, definetely one to watch out for. Also Black 56 plate Mk2 TDCi focus is regularly in use, has flip lights on the parcel shelf and all the goodies.
Also saw a light blue Honda CRV 4x4 belting down the a55 sliproad the other day, no markings except two flashing lights behind the grille and what looks like a removable beacon stuck on the roof above the drivers side. Could be a doctor/paramedic or an unmarked car who knows.

silver 4 dr honda around wrexham

got a telling off last night for hitting a puddle of a roundabout and wheel spinning, and then got some story about how i was doing over 100..... as they had to rag their car in the pouring rain to tell me off, only to be told they didn't have a camera working but my average was 91??? so what was the point...

shame i had the speed limited set to 72 as i'd already seen them parked up

Another unmarked car for the list;

BMW 320d SE (4 door saloon), sparkling graphite (dark grey), LC08 SKV.
Rear flashy lights clearly seen just above parcel shelf, front flashies can be seen behind the rad grill.
Spotted patroling along A55 from Colwyn Bay to Llanfairfechan.
