I think I must just have passed half of North Wales undercover Police cars.
I was driving from Bangor to the Colwyn Bay area, and I saw various cars going pretty fast on the opposite carriageway. The ones I remember are:
Skoda Estate (more than one)
Golf GTi
Merc Vito (van thing)
Volvo Estate (more than one)
VW Passat (I think)
Not entirely sure where they were going, but it must have been something urgent.. there was a lot of marked cars heading in that direction too.
Makes me even more glad I stick to the speed limit, there's some cars there I had absolutely no idea those guys used.

In the North Wales edition of the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo of 15th March 2010 it was stated that North Wales Police had 17 unmarked vehicles in their Road's Policing Unit in 2009. These vehicles will include motorbikes, cars and armed response cars and vans. In 2006 the NWP started experimenting with a few Skoda Octavia VRS Estate cars and BMW 5 Series cars. The BMW cars were leased from a London firm that supplies the MET police and they had London car registrations. They were to replace the Volvo estate T5 cars that had a new more costly model coming out. Then North Wales started buying Skodas and BMW's for their traffic fleet as well as the last of the outgoing Volvo models on '57' number plates and continued to buy the Skodas and BMW,s throughout 2008 and 2009. In 2009 and 2010 a few Audi A6 Avant estate cars were bought and added to the fleet. Now Volvo has brought out a special model estate car for the police. I have seen two of these in North Wales recently, both unmarked and burgundy in colour. One was in Holywell (Registration CX10DWM) and the other on the A55 in Colwyn Bay (Registration CX DX?). Too fast for me to get the last letter i'm affraid.
In the past week I have seen the following unmarked police cars. A black Skoda Octavia VRS Estate (Registration CX 59 FEP)in Rhyl with 2 officers in (possibly armed response) but as it was in Rhyl on a Saturday night it could just have been for their own protection. A light blue Skoda Octavia VRS Estate (Registration CX 09 CHF) on the A55 at Pentre Halkyn and a light blue Skoda Octavia VRS Estate (Registration CX 09 CJE) with 2 officers in (Armed Response) in Mold in mid afternoon. In Holywell town centre the next day I saw a silver coloured Skoda Octavia VRS Estate (Registration CX 58 FLN) with 2 officers in (Armed Response), again in the middle of the afternoon.
