Hi,
I am thinking about becoming the TVR Car Club regional organiser.
How many out their would be interested in a North Wales meet?
Where would be a good meet up point bearing in mind I am based outside Wrexham?

Hi John, Good to see the Cerb is back on the road and looking fantastic from the pics I've seen!! I've been on quite a few of your N Wales runs the last few years but at the minute I'm TVR-less (just sold my Tamora) However, I'm hoping to be back in one again before the summer so I would be up for it. I've been to the Cheshire meets in the past but it's a bit of a boring drive along the M56! I'm sure we could offer some more interesting roads to travel to a meet in North Wales!

I know TVR meets are boring and I am not a hang around the pub unless it's lunch stop type person.
I wanted to hold a meet around the EVO triangle so we could all meet up at a pub and intermix the event with a few laps of the Evo. I would like the North Wales club to be an active road loving club.
The other thing I wanted to try and do was put together some low cost trips around Europe or Scotland etc.
I fully appreciate that not every one has a TVR at present so it was more of a 'TVR' fan club and bring what ever you've got and we'll all go for a spin.
The other issue we face unlike other regions is the weather in Winter so it might only we worth meeting up during Spring, Summer and Autumn.

I'd be up for this in the summer if you don't have to have TVR. I can drool over yours then lol. I've got this, so as long as i don't get thrown out of the car park i'll come along

Hi John, Don't you think it's about time the EVO Triangle was kicked into touch and a new "short drive" found? There are many exciting roads in North Wales and many are WEST of the EVO. It means a few more miles from Wrexham but it is worth the effort, and the petrol. As Del boy says - "He who dares......".
I don't mind helping with sorting out routes.

If an initial meeting was held with those who are interested we could kick a few ideas around.

you should cross post this in the NW section to see if you can pick up some boring middle aged TVR owners who may be not as bad as you think

Any news on this yet John? As you know, I'm not a TVR owner, but I'm more than up for another day out. Now the sun is shining and all the tourists have headed home, we should all get out for a pootle around the mountains.

I had intended to sign up as organiser by now, but I seem to spend too much time running my business. I'll look into it again.

Just bought my first TVR, Flintshire based so I'd be interested in the idea of a North Wales TVR meet. I dont fancy driving up the M56 for the Cheshire meet, it will remind me of going to work!!
