Wow what a shock.
I met Simon on here and at BBWF, he also showed us a few of his favourite roads in North Wales. Pleasure knowing him.
RIP Simon.

Massive shock to hear this, very sad news.
We've been on a couple of runs around north Wales and up to Scotland with Simon, when he had his purple Wedge and then after he'd sold it, but still came to Scotland in his non TVR.
RIP Simon. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.

I can't really add much to what's already been said. I was fortunate enough to meet Simon at a couple of the earlier wedgefests and he was a really nice person. Can't belive that he has gone RIP

I met Simon Longworth in 1995 when he joined St Helens Glass and came out on his first appointment with me. Then he was a work colleague but over the next 17 years Simon became a very good friend to me and my family. Earlier this year we sat having a cup of tea (Simon had no sugar, no milk just show the water the tea bag) and I told Simon he was my best friend. I lost my best friend when he died suddenly last Thursday evening while he enjoyed a glass of red wine before going to bed. Life can be so cruel, Simon was a top man and made many friends from the estate and through Badminton, Rumba Dancing, Flying Club, TVR Club and his businesses – Custom Property Services & Custom Pin Ball. I have fond memories of being lifted from wheelchair by Simon into his TVR Wedge for an “exciting” drive over “The Horsehoe Pass” to Llangollen He loved his Springer Spaniels, and during 2011 his house became full of them. He would “walk” (I mean run) Jess, Monty and Milly on the beach every evening and weekends. Simon was always there for me and Lol, we are well in debt as to the countless number of favours he did for us over the years. Lol was Simon’s concert partner with their evenings out at the O2 Arena, to watch MeatLoaf, followed by a Chinese in Manchester. Simon became Lol’s best friend too and we will both miss him so much. If Simon had won the lottery he would have been driving the car of his dreams, a Bugatti Veyron, across the USA and I’d have been in convoy in a “more suitable vehicle” (quite a bit behind, he liked to put his foot down a bit). Simon went around the world, a fantastic journey, but I only wish he could have had more trips like it. My best friend had unfulfilled dreams at aged 45 and deserved longer time to achieve them. You will never ever be forgotten mate. Deepest Sympathy for Simon’s Family & Friends Daj & Lol & The Postnine Crew

Very Sad news...what a horrible thing to read, met Simon at the Wedgfest, Tivs'n 'Ribs and Halloween Hooting last year, lovely bloke a great sense of humour and obviously loved his TVR and friendship that came with it.
Life is far too short and very fragile...
Condolences to Simons family.

It's taken me a good hour to get the tears out of the way and post. It's like losing a relative. Wee Man was a "cyber friend" to all Wedgers and a true friend to all that met Him.
Wee Man is the first Wedger mate that I've lost, I don't like it and it hurts.
In short, Wee Man was a Gentle Man.
God bless Si and thanks for the memories.
